Objective
I am an artist seeking opportunities to show my work. My art explores subconscious dreamscapes, characters, and abstract space through composition, texture, and color (see artist’ statement). I currently work in small to medium sized formats using mixed media including acrylic and pastel on paper, canvas, and museum board. I am returning to public exhibitions after a hiatus to focus on family and a teaching career in elementary education. Art for me is a way of life, how one sees the world, and the language we use to express ideas in metaphors and symbols. While I have not been showing publicly during this hiatus, I have been incubating and maturing as an artist privately, now it is time to re-engage with the art community.
